What alternator on my mac#1 with 2litre pinto
can anybody help me with which alternator to use on my pinto engined mac#1. there is very ltlle clearance between the steering shaft and the location
for the alternator, any help would be a great help as this is causing me major headaches !

I've used the Nippon-denso alternate, which I think came from a daihatsu charade - tiny in comparison to the system pinto one....

thanks for that,time to go and look for one.................did you use the ford mounting or fabricate your own

I run the same car, I use the standard alternator with a modded bracket.
