The more I look through the list of what you chaps have had, like Nick P says I really have had some heaps of crap, some things never change, but do
fancy an alfa restoration project.
Also just remembered I had a Astra estate, I just wish Id completed the set with the all time favourite "Austin Maxi" pudding stirrer gear
lever type thing. Got to drive my old fellas Maxi if I was lucky.

Mini 850 - Came with a fire extinguisher which I sadly needed to use after about 4 miles of ownership
Vauxhal Nova 1.3 SR - Loved this car and the insurance was surprisingly cheap for a boy racer car
Ford Escort 1.1 crap heap - threw a piston at me on M62!
Ford Fiesta 1.1 pop - Came free with the new girlfriend
Renault Clio 1.2 - Don't recall the model but was a piece of crap
BMW Mini Cooper S - had it for a year and lost less than £500 when I sold it
Alfa 145 Cloverleaf
Alfa 147 2.0 t-spark - cambelt let go on this one
Fiat Cinquecento - I weighed 17 stone when I had this so it was just like a big mechanical coat
Toyota iQ - when I was city living, ran on fresh air and awesome in the snow
Mk Indy ZX12r - which sadly I nearly finished and got running and then sold
Lada Niva Cossack off-roader
Renault Kangoo van - for the wifes business

1985 Nissan Micra DX - in brown, with matching brown interior and seat belts! 1 litre of pure first car joy.
1992 Volvo 440 GL (1.8i) - one of the most comfy cars ever, and very low cost motoring for a 19 year old driver
1987 Pug 205 GTi (1.6) - stripped of everything non-essential and converted to a 1.9 for trackdays - lovely car
1996 Honda Civic 1.5i - bombproof. One of the most rleiable and lowest cost cars I have owned. Bought form my aunt who was still having it serviced by
Honda despite being more than 10 years old at the time!
1998 Subaru Impreza Wagon 2000T - lovely car. Never missed a beat. Sold due to running costs which turned out to be far lower than the car that
replaced it!
1998 Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 poverty spec - worst car ever. It cost fortune to run. It was unreliable and metallic brown - it did do great lift off
oversteer
Volvo 960 LWB - bought cheap for a banger rally across Europe. So many toys!
2004 Honda Accord Tourer 2.2 CTDI - HUGE boot. Good to look at, and good toys, but dull to drive.
2009 Stuart Taylor (Triumph bike engine powered) - built by me and still owned today but with upgraded engine
2002 BMW 320i (E46) - lovely and smooth to drive. Too small for a family estate!
2001 Seat Leon Cupra 1.8t LPG converted - great fun, low cost and bombproof. Still wondering if I did the right thing letting it go!
2005 BMW E60 535D SE Touring - cracking engine, and a lovely car to waft along in - properly quick when you try too!

I think i need to change car more often
mk4 fiesta 1.25 bought 6 months old good first car, but got smashed into by a bus down one side, repaired then 2 weeks later a rover 800 down the
other side, total replaced, both bumbers 4 wheels 2 front wings 2 rear quaters both doors boot and bonnet, figured it best get moved on
mk5 fiesta ZetecS (also known as mk4 facelift by some) this was brand new, then less than a year old used as a testbed for a turbo conversion by van
aaken developmeants, my car, a guy from wales, and there own car all blew up in the first 3 weeks, but they got it sorted in the end, 150bhp was good
fun and it really annoyed the st150 owners. also decat and twin exit exhaust, lowered, 16" wheels, mondao v6 brakes probably some other bits
and bobs had that for 10 years
MNR Votex build started whilst i had the ZetecS, part funded by a pi claim from being splatted on a cb500
306 estate was ok, didn't cost much whilst i had it but was glad to be rid
BMW e39 530D its huge good on fuel comfy and fun, i think i'll be sticking to 5 series from now on i like it that much

some very long lists!
mine in 17 years of driving:
Normal cars:
E reg metro city. grandmas car until i inherited it
B reg Ford fiesta 1.1 pop, first proper car i owned. wish i had it now.
g reg astra Astra (red) bought from a mate when he lost his licence, then bought it back for the same price a year later
p reg purple astra, horrible should have bought the GSI one i really wanted. popped a head gasket too
s reg rover 800. brilliant, comfy barge. loved it. but not great for a derby to leeds commute so...
r reg skoda felicia: ran on cooking oil, literally cheap as chips. (eventually front suspension collapsed on m1)
54 plate corsa diesel. uber cheap and reliable.
51 plate rover 75 v6. brilliant car, very rare spec, now being pampered down south and doing 300 miles per year
53 plate focus. dads car. never liked it. crap on petrol, eventually sold it to buy
57 plate focus c max. 1.6 diesel. cheap to run family bus
Fun cars: (mostly alongside the normal ones)
Robin hood series one. (dad had it after me for another 10 years of pretty much free motoring sold it for what we paid 12 years later to a dealer in
holland)
Robin Hood 2b - bought from the builder very tidy car, sold for more than i paid and offered the chance to buy it back again for less, but lacked the
space
Quantum 2+2. practical, but heavy steering. came with tartan interior :-/
V8 Vindicator sprint - finally found somewhere to put my lovely engine. sounded brilliant, but young kids meant it did 400 miles in two years. sold
and someone wrote it off within a year.
GTM spyder (now owned by my dad) best kit car ever for me. brilliant design. did daily service as my commuter car. built with all new bits. great car,
but the family dont fit in it.
2003 reg MGZT260. my current beast. 4.6 litre mustang V8 engined car with x power exhausts. sounds epic. and comfy heated seats when its too cold for
the bike! good Q car. 20 mpg :-(

2004 - 2011: Ford Ka
2013 - : Kia Ceed Sportwagen
1999 - 2009: Vespa ET4
And obviously:
2012 - : Haynes Roadster (at lest it will be eventually)...

1981 Ford Fiesta 950cc rust coloured (leaked that bad when it rained it was drier standing outside)
1976 Mini 1000cc (Awesome car, nothing could stop and it, and that includes me when the m/c went approaching a hairpin)
1989 VW Golf Gti 8v (couldn't fault this one, although the rust on the tailgate wasn't good)
1985 VW Golf Gti 8v(this was the 1st car i modified in any way, stuck 16v engine in it for what it was worth)
1998 Vauxhall Combo (Works van, surprising what these can do when you don't own them )
2000 Astra Van (As above only quicker and better handling)
1998 Vauxhall Combo (Self employment required a reliable van, other than a rusty sump it was)
1998 Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 Sri (Hated this car, sounded well when the exhaust broke, but i just hated, sold it within months)
1998 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro (couldn't fault this car, didn't cost much to run other than fuel, kept it for about 3 years)
2004 MK Indy Blade (Woefully under powered but good fun, 1st kit car built, changed the engine after 2 trackdays)
2005 MK Indy R1 (The same chassis as above just an engine change, big difference between the 2)
2006 MK Indy S2000 (Thought i'd stick the much talked about S2000 engine in an Indy, still running hassle free to this day, albeit with
it's 3rd owner)
2003 Ford Transit Connect (1st new vehicle i'd ever purchased, proper tonka van, ran flat out faultlessly for 3.5 years)
2001 VW Beetle 2.3 V5 (Looked well for a beetle, and went well upto 4k rpm, after that it felt restricted)
2002 VW Golf GTTDI (Kept this one a while, other than a clutch it took everything we threw at it, good car)
2007 MK/RR Sprint R (Good fun, and quick with the lower weight, but not in the same league as a genuine single seater)
2007 Ford Transit Connect (Time for a new works van, bought the 110ps this time, but changed it after 9 months)
2007 Ford Transit Sportvan (Not sure about Sporty, different yes, but not quick, then again it was work van no 4)
2005 Clio 182 Trophy (Stripped this one and had a full cage welded in, thanks Martin, Plus the rest of the interior was removed, best trackcar
i'd had to date, and wouldn't hesitate to run another on track)
2005 Subaru Impreza STI PPP (Slower than expected, even had another remap to 330bhp, made a difference but just wasn't impressed)
2009 Road Runner SR2 (Probably the quickest kitcar of lot despite the 1600 mx5 engine, Fantastic round the bends, just seriously lacked any punch in a
straight line)
2003 Audi RS6 (Remapped to approx 500bhp, awesome car, not cheap to run, but my 1st automatic and the twin turbo v8 made swift progress relaxing,
until it got a bend )
2006 Porsche Cayman S (The best steering car i've ever had, the steering was direct, it went exactly where you pointed it and was reasonably
quick for just 295bhp)
Still on the Drive
2011 VW Caddy (Bought the 140ps model, good van, and reasonably quick)
2003 Volvo S60 2.5t (Bought this as run around for a while, almost 3 years on we've still got it, it's got everything a new car would
have, extremely comfy seats and it's cost almost nothing to run, other than the low 23mpg i'd keep this one till it gives up)
Wow that's more than i'd have guessed and i'm sure i've missed something, i'm only 18, and been driving for 6 months
Just off too dig out some pictures

Looking through all the pics i have, the car i miss the most is the RS6, i've got quite a few picture of this could put up, the ones of the
interior/seats are immaculate despite suffering 70000 miles abuse.
If it wasn't for the fear of huge repair bill i'd buy one tomorrow
