Colourtune advice
Has anyone used a colourtune to balance the idle mixture on an engine running bike carbs?
Mine rattles the clutch at low tickover so its obvious the cylinders are fighting one another, figured a colourtune and getting all the pots firing
the same colour might be an answer....

I've used one before. Brilliant idea/invention. It would also be worth getting the throttles lined up. They can look ok, but be a fair bit out
if your not careful.

Carb balance first, then colour tune.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

I've used one. Great little bit of kit.
I know some people smirk at the idea but for me it was a great little purchase. I used a colortune to set the idle jets, synchronized them with a
Carbtune and voila.
Took it along to TTS "to get jetted" and they said it was 99% perfect and only shimmed one bank because the lambda was a tiny bit off....
Didn't make any difference and now it runs rich so might remove the shim anyway...

Thanks guys, I've balanced the butterfly's with a set of gauges, its just the idle mix I need to sort.
Think I'll invest in one...

As above,
if you can possibly get hold of one for each cylinder it's even better,
mate and myself bought 2 each from autojumbles etc
