Well done

but don't go mad on the road... most people crash within 2 weeks of passing (my sister in just 15 minutes, with my car ) so take it easy

5 minors, more than i wanted but i could of had 15, so still pretty good

2 for being too fast approaching junctions,
2 for reversing round a corner, 1 of them was a cyclist came so i started again, and i went too close to kerb so redid it, but 3rd time was perfect

And 1 for undue hesitation, not sure what thats about

Usually at roundabouts where the examiner considered it safe to go but you didn't

On the bus driver test they hit you hard for these as your not considered confident enough

The saying is “expecting to go but prepared to stop”

I got 5 minors too

I think it was: 1 mirrors, 1 hesitation, 1 too slow

and 2 for use of gears (I like to use all the avalible rev's )

for me it was 1 day
just a tiny bump in a car park

then a week after that I spun the car and ended up on the grass, but lucky never hit anything (no kerbs)

the scary bit is that was 10 years ago

Ford Puma :p

I always quite liked them for some reson, they where still quite new when I passed my test though, so I had no chance of getting one

ended up with a 1979 1.1 fiesta - briliant fun (but then so is any first car )

I always wondered what the point of the reversing round a corner close to the kerb manouevre was - surely the most likely time you'd reverse around a corner is to turn around, in which case you'd really want to end up with your offside close to the centreline of the sideroad, ready for pulling out to the right?

Well done Ed.

This post makes me feel old. I passed my test in December......... 1982 that's 27 years ago

thanks for reminding me! Enjoy it fella it's the best thing in the world.

One piece of advice given to me, which worked for me was "now go learn to drive"

well done again

....... Neil

It took me 6 weeks, but I bounced off a tree and into a lake. FYI, November is not the best month to go for a swim.
