R1 Clutch/gear noise

Hi,

I've seen a post regarding my symptoms but can't find it again.

See left for engine.

Symptoms; every so often on idle the engine sounds like its 'knocking', if the clutch is depressed the noise disappears.

ideas??

Throttle bodies out of balance. Do a search for my posts on balancing R1 carbs - the process is very similar.

I sometimes get something very similar on my carbed R1 - a quick blip of the throttle when in neutral seems to help. I don't think its particularly unusual from what I have seen/heard on this forum.
