Rolling Road + Megasquirt

Anyone know of a rolling road that will map megasquirt cars. Got mine running on MS, but not driving, just thinking ahead to getting it mapped. BTW somewhere in Scotland would be nice
Cheers

Scott

What did they charge Andy? Plenty of places I asked didn't want to touch it, and others wanted upward of 75 quid an hour and 4-5 hours to map mine, so I did it myself on road which I'm fairly pleased with but wouldn't really recommend unless you like spending a lot of time and fuel blasting around the local hills!

whats not to like. I did mine this way and it was great fun.

I am planning a rolling road session to get the ignition timing spot on though. That is too hard and risky for me to try on the road.

Scott it was wallace who did scoobylav's and big Daz's avon. I have asked them about doing mines but at £80/hr decided to get it as close as poss myself using tuner studio

If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Correct but the mapper was Russ Paton who is now based in Dalgety bay Edinburgh at Performance HQ

So give them a shout for more info. closer to you too I would imagine.

Cheers for the info, I actually know Russ, he used to come down to Crail quite often with his hot astra.

One question, how close was your car to running before russ got it. Mine will idle and thats about it!

If you have a wideband lambda you can get it pretty much bang-on with a reasonable but conservative ignition table, then take it to them. The problem I found though was that they* basically said that to map it they'd wipe whatever I did and start from scratch anyway so there was no point.

*one or two rolling roads I contacted.

Was running and revving but not freely and way overfueling. I did a little tuning with a wideband 1st but its no easy trying to press a button while the whole car and laptop screen are vibrating wildly
