UPVC DOOR Lock unit questio?
Anyone here in the trade on this?
The front door lock set on My daughters new house hais worn out and needs replacing.
I've done both my own before so I know a bit about how to do them nd what to measure.
The one one it is a Ferco stamped 025.
its also got a slightly doglegged/raised faceplate like ______/--------\_____
Its a 70mm unit the 025 suggests 25mm backset, but
Problem is I cant find an equivalent, or any info on this, so wondered if any ones got experience or an old catalogue that helps?

The thing to check for is the offset measure from where the screw is in both directions as the hole is not normally central in the lock. Hope that
makes sense

Talk to the manufacture if you can. I had trouble with our conservatory lock, they replaced it free of charge.

Heres the offender.
As can be seen it has a unusual raised part that I cant find on any sites. As said I'll try and make a call or two

Hi, did you manage to sort this lock out? I am going through the same thing at the moment trying to find a Ferco 025 lock and I am having no luck.
I'm that desperate to find one that I have just registered on here so I could ask you lol.

Try and measure the PZ of the door handle by following the diagram here: http://upvcspareparts.co.uk/pz-door-handle-measuring-diagram/
After you know that you should find it a lot easier to find a suitable replacement door handle:
http://www.upvcspares4repairs.co.uk/upvc-door-handles
Chances are the door handle you have now will not be manufactured any more, however its usually possible to get a suitable replacement if you measure
the existing door handle correctly.

Ooops
I missed this, I think it was when the site was broken and no emails sent.
Yes I did fix it. Thanks to everyone that assisted
This fitted straifght in, just be double sure of the number of rollers as mine was not 4 roller after all it was 2 roler and two mushroom, but lock
bit is the same
Details:
Here's a link to the lock on our website:
https://www.upvc-hardware.co.uk/locks-gearing/multipoint-upvc-door-locks/ferco-upvc-door-locks/ferco-4-roller-multipoint-upvc-door-lock
However your lock is 25mm backset, the closest available now is 28mm backset. It's basically the same lock without the raised section in the
middle of the faceplate. When fitting the 28mm it may just stand proud by 3mm near the centre of the strip.
Kind Regards

Hi
As per conversation earlier this week I attach a couple of pictures of this unusual lock.
It is definitely stamped FERCO 025.
It is a 4 roller
The backset appears to be ±25-28mm
The lock to handle is 70mm.
As can be seen the unusual bit is the raised section in the lock area.
I would be grateful if you can shine any light as to a suitable replacement
