Which Rad Fan switch for C20XE engine?

Just been tinkering in the garage today as I had a small water leak on my F27 C20xe ( leak now fixed ) noticed the rad fan switch didnt kick in until water temp gauge was around the 110 degrees mark!!

It has a 82 deg thermastat and that is working fine, am thinking the fan switch isnt working properly?, it usually kicks in around the 90 deg mark and the car runs happily around 80 deg during normal driving.

Was thinking of changing the fan switch , what temp range should I go for?

so far ive seen the following - 82c -68c / 88c-79c / 95c-86c / 97c-85c ( switch is M22 x 1.5mm two pin )
was thinking of going for the 95c - 86c one from Car builder solutions.

any thoughts as to which to go for?

cheers and beers

Greg

As long as the switch in and out temperatures are both at least 4 degrees above the thermostat openning temperature all will be well.

Your lucky.. at least your radiator gets hot enough

Interesting your temperature up so high, if your fan is coming on then maybe your radiator isnt getting hot enough like mine?
