Hi there,
Sorry to hijack this thread, but I just wanted to know whether you had been happy with your level of braking with the Sierra master cylinder?
I have recently purchased a supercat and found the braking to be really poor. I have upgraded calipers and discs, and have found through the kind
people in these forums that a: my greenstuff pads are less than desireable, and b: that the Sierra master cylinder is considered to be slightly to
bigger bore, and that a smaller bore master cylinder will improve the braking considerably.
I am planning on changing to Mintex pads and adjusting the pivot point to see whether this makes a significant difference, and if it doesnt then the
next step will be a master cylinder swap.
Thanks

Hi
not sure what pads is in it i think they are mintex, the sierra master cylinder did a good job, some people dont like the solid feel and went for a
smaller fiesta one with a 19mm bore which gives a bit better feel.
Think about it, think about it again and then do it.
