J15 M

Hi Fellas
I may have been a bit hasty about the integral m/cyls not fitting under the bonnet last 2 trial fits all ok

What clutch m/cyl bore are you Sigmas running 0.75 ? just asking as my engineer friend said the flow was important and Compbrakes do a 0.83 at sub £20 is it worth looking at ?

Starting to come together now i would put some pictures up if i wasnt such a biff with computors

Thanks

Nick M

I fitted this on advice from Motorsport Tools "We would recommend the 0.625 for the front and 0.75 on the rear" I am not happy as braking effort is too high. Not sure what to change it to I think the front needs to be smaller.

Started ith 0.75 front and rear, soon changed it to 0.625 front and 0.75 rear and that gives a much better, softer feel to the pedal.

I suppose it's all about the type of 'feel' you prefer.

For the clutch I have 0.75 and that works perfect.
For brakes 0.625 both f&r and that gives a hard pedal feel, which I like.
Basicly I did I like Jeremy told me, he has built a few cars :-)

Looks like 0.75 for the clutch then, i havent checked but i cant understand the flow thing as the pipe narrows so much at the g/box that it cant be much more than 3/16 anyway ? when i questioned a mech he said 3/16 would probably do it then i mentioned my engineers name and "flow" he then said go with what he said !

Got the top tub fitted today (not permanently) and its got better shut lines then my MG is that good or bad ?
