You could set up a 'rule' or 'filter' to dump them straight into the Deleted folder... (the terminology varies with the mail software you're using)

In my mail software (Thunderbird) it's really easy to set up a new rule when a junk mail arrives - just right-click on the offending mail header and select the menu item.

Just report it a spam and it should end up in the junk mail folder from then onwards.

i get 40-50 junk emails a week in my yahoo and 99.9% get picked up by the spam filter.
