Ford EDIS4 ECU - Help
I've been tidying the wiring behind the dashboard as its was a jungle with connectors and bits of wires joining this and that also not
marked/id, also installed a new 8 way fuse block in place of the old Ford ceramic. This is wired as it was with the ceramic and used fuse 8 for the
fuel pump. The loom I think is from an MK2 Escort.
Everything is sorted and working, but lost the 12v supply to the EDIS4 ECU for a 2ltr Silvertop Zetec. Found the cable but not a clue where its
suppose to be connected behind the dash.
Any clues which fused circuit it should be attached to, if any.
thanks

A switched 12v so the mk2 escort coil feed as you are using the Edis instead.

thanks,
But should it be a fused switched 12v, did the Escort use any of its 7 fused circuits to feed the coil.
thanks again

15amp, the original Escort had switchgear that could cope therefore the loom should have thick enough wire
If your not sure use a relay
Autosportslabs forum has wiring diagrams
Pin 8 on the EDIS is 12v
