SVA Booked 5/12/05
its now official - SVA booked. Nice warm drive to Gosforth for 8am beckons!
Not much left to do as well which is nice. Only jobs out of my hands are emissions, headlight adjustment and noise. After that ive only got some minor
tidying to do.
Im looking forward to the test.

Cheers Jos. If you would be so kind i would like to know in detail what happened to yours so i can give mine a check over. As mine is almost identical
spec youve struck the fear of god into me!
Im just praying it isnt snowing that morning. Better pack a tow rope.

If driving up you can stop over at mine on the Sunday night if you want. Then it's just a short blast to Gosforth. Might even escort you in

Its getting close now!!!!! 6 days 22 hours 48minutes................
Not much to do to finish it.
Tappets, timing and mixture being the main jobs. After that just trimming and covering.
Im watching the weather like a hawk now. The drive up to Gosforth (35miles each way) at 06.30 next Monday morning will be a pleasure im sure.
Ive just booked it into MOT place to get emmissions and lights set up. Closest place was unsure about doing it (didnt want to do it wrong etc) but
advised to go to his other garage. Top result on 2 counts - 1. It is further away (10mile round trip), 2. The tester there is building a pinto engined
Tiger 6. Just need to arrange afternoon off and insurance on Friday morning.
