Shes running
After a long drive there and back (very much worth it btw) shes now running SWEEEEEEET
Many many many thanks to Mark Colin and Oliver who persevered with me and her (not Emma) and have put right all of my wrongs, and there were a few
(OW, okay quite a few).
All better now.
I have tried to start her since we got back as I'm working on the rear brakes and dont want to be tempted to drive without brakes.
Cheers "cheeky chappies"

jos, What was done to get her running sweet - interested from a learning point of view.
I thought your back brakes were all new - have you worn a set out already?????
Are you ready for SVA now.

Nope, rear brakes are non existant. Boooo
At the MOT check they noticed a leak and when Mark was driving it turned into a flood. Ive taken off the rear T piece and have noticed a crack
running across the threads so am looking to replace that and both rear drum cylinders.
What was done to get her running - the abridged version
crimp on LT lead was incorrect causing arcing to the dizzy cap
Dodgy lead to cyl 3
dodgy spark plug on 2
all spark plugs replaced
dizzy setup correctly
car floats adjusted
carb air bleed jets adjusted
timing adjusted
mixture adjusted
idle adjusted
and plenty more which I forget at the mo but all sorted now.
Once Ive got the t piece in and brakes bled I should be ready for SVA and might try for Thursday this week but I'll see whether I can source the
t piece at lunchtime before ringing shrewsbury
