it was tight but it's in!!!

Spent a few hours putting the engine in. My promised help for this job went and got himself a woman so I ended up just doing it myself. Just got to get some electrics going so I can fire it up.

Yep, hopefully the key turning will be next week sometime. Just need to get the electrics and oil sorted and maybe mock up a rad just in case.

My missus is surprisingly good about my days in the garage. She knows I have no power in there so the latest I can work is about dinner time.

How do you get on without any power? I'm in the same situation and was wondering how difficult it would be.

Not too bad although if I had thought ahead I would have got an extra battery for my drill so I could have one on charge and one in use.
I have a Dremel for the small tricky jobs. Other than that I haven't really needed power.

The only time I got stuck was cutting the floor so I marked it up and took it round to a mates lock up and cut it there.
