2003 R1: What are these tubes for?
Hi all
I'm trying to figure out the whole engine and I didn't get these 3 tubes.
They are not connected neither on the bottom nor on the top.
What are they used for?
Thanks in advance,
Joao

I've not got these on my engine either. They could be overflow or drain hoses from the fuel tank on the bike.

Breather pipes for the battery and fuel tank...
BTW. Did you have to start 4 threads? would have been tidier with one...
Opinions are like backsides..
Everyone has one, nobody wants to hear it and only other peoples stink!

Sounds right...
One smelled fuel, the other oil and the third didn't smell at all...

It's easier to control what receives a response and keep track of the answears...
