2003 r1: AIS - Keep or remove?

And one more time...

AIS - What is the general consensus? Keep or remove?
As far as I know, in the Dragstar (carbed) - my current bike - everybidy is taking'em out...

It would save weight, but on the other hand, how to foul the ECU?

Remove all the AIS parts, block the vents and cut out all the wires. The ECU will be fine without any connection for the AIS.
