r1 injection wiring

does anyone know what alterations i need to make to an 03 r1 injection loom?

There are quite a few answers to this question so try a search but you have to decide whether you are going to keep the loom intact and add the car bits or rip out all of the bike loom to just leave the main engine wiring. There is plenty of info in the BEC section.

The easiest way would be to keep the R1 loom intact, short out the necessary (side stand, clutch, neutral, run switch) and extend the lighting wiring.

Replace the bike flasher relay with a three pin car one, put a permanent feed to it and this can be used for your signal and hazards.

Don't bother trying to cut out the cyclelock, just short it out (one link wire) and away to go.

There's plenty of info on here about it and there was a lot of scaremongering how difficult it is, in reality it's straight forward.
