Good luck.

But take one bit of advice. Once you've passed (and you will monday) and she's all registered, got all the ground heights correct, geometry is set, first time out.....

TAKE IT EASY !

Cheers Rich (and others!)

good job I noticed this post else I could have been quite ignorant!
Thanks to all, and thanks all along for your advice Rich!
I'm not sure about passing monday - but am doing my best to get everything sorted, so who knows - I'll certainly be having my fingers crossed!!!
The lads at MAC#1 were absolute stars yesterday, and despite saying that they had to, without question, be out of there by 3.15pm they were still helping me with stuff at 4.30! Top men...
Cheers Mark & Col
Just one or two jobs to do monday morning (hope I'm not cutting it too fine - not started it with full exhaust on yet!) so not exactly leaving myself loads of time, but with Mark and Col's help I am (very very very very quietly) confident it will at least get there!!!
cheers,
Steve.

Are you taking Col with you to the SVA ?

He came to mine as we couldn't set up the emmissions correctly at mac1's place.

Talk about not giving in, he took about two and half hours at the SVA centre, playing around with the emmissions.

I'd given up, but he kept on saying, I'm not leaving without a pass. He's a really determined little b*stard.

This is where mac1 have the drop on some of the other manufacturers.

I borrowed all their SVA stuff on the morning of the test too, so wouldn't worry about that.

By the way, do you know what we're having tomorrow ?

2 foot of snow !!!

Good luck for tomorrow, are you taking it to Nottingham?

As above, if you take Mark or Col with you shouldn't. have any trouble. Mark came with me for our retest and managed to get ours through the emmisions. Doubt if I could of done it myself.

Simon

thanks both of you - I think it's Mark that will be coming with me - but he's already promised to give the carbs a good setup!
I'm kind of looking forward to it now - I think I've worked quite hard on it for the last few months so would good to see how my work measures up (as it were!)
I'm not exactly looking forward to 2' of snow though, I have to honest!!! Mind you I'm kind of hoping that its a bit more local to south wales than Nottingham!!

cheers,
Steve.
