Which 'extras' do I need/want?
Well I'm pretty sure that my introduction to M1MOC/MAC#1 at Newark was just a well choreographed sales pitch!
I'm a sucker for gadgets and extra 'bits' so I've now got the dilemma of which extras I need (or want).
I'm looking at:
- Worx Kit
- Fireblade or ZX10 engine
- An upgrade to the roll bar, something more substantial than a basic hoop
- Carbon Dash
- Wilwoods
- Elise Rear Lights
- Savage Rear Lights
- DigiDash
- Pro-race 1-2 alloys (are these the ones on BigRich's car?)
- Editted to say: LSD as well
Has anybody got any comments about things I need or shouldn't bother with?

That's pretty much what I was after. I think Martin's Mac#1 had the support I was looking for with rear braces and a diagonal brace,
Thanks

Bit of a newbie question but what does a Quick-rack do for me? We've already got a Momo steering wheel lined up as that's important!

Does the kit not come with an Aeroscreen? Is a 'Sports screen' (quote from kit list) not the same? If not then Aeroscreen or bubble
screen it is)

Yup - it's not a Mac#1 but mine is similar, although more selfish.

Mine is a "selfish" one too Tim, as you know, and I guess you know too Trev! But Mac1 don't weld their roll bars in at all, like
Tim's MNR which is welded isn't it Tim?

ZX10 over the blade.
A diagonal brace as per Steves car (worX)
Rich has Compomotive CXR's not Pro Race
A turbo !

Trev,
a Quickrack speeds up your steering ratio, for example it might take your tintop 3 - 4 turns to go from left hand lock all the way round to right hand
lock, but it should take your average quickrack to go 2.4 turns (of the wheel) to do lock to lock.

Nope, but the diagonal is fish-mouthed with a welded-in boss. Frankly it's just a quality bit of fabrication.
Mine is selfish because the hoop is asymetric. Basically, if you were the passenger in a roll, you're f*****. I am not carrying passengers -
haven't even bought a 2nd harness.

Tim, you're not carrying passengers ?
So when you said I can go out in it - you meant I would be in the drivers seat - BONUS
Back to the original post...
How about a carbon floor and back panel and really lord it over the peasants
