Right! I'm off into the garage to install the engine/gearbox. Never done this before so here goes.
Chocks away.....
I will post tonight to report on any progress.

all the best, take your time and don't be tempted to rush. Better to stand back for 10 minutes with a brew and have a think than force a bad
situation especially if you're doing it on your own.

^ Exactly
If your doing this by yourself, rather you didn't, get someone to check on you every hour or so either nextdoor looking in or someone ringing
up. Sounds daft I know but doesn't take much to get in bother

think a sweep stake should be set up on the the number of minor injuries.
I say 3, 2 cuts and a trapped thumb.
All the best!

it's in.... well hanging in the right place.... just need to make some final adjustments to the position and drill the gearbox mounts then bolt
in.
Only mishap so far is some gearbox oil dumped on the garage floor.
Very smooth operation, took my time. Just stopped for a spot of lunch. It's not over yet.
Cheers
Keith.

It's in. Here are some pics. No injuries, no dramas. Just took me time and it just slotted in.
Only thing is the original oil filter interfers with the steering downlink. Is there a short stubby one available for the Zetec? How did you guys
get round this problem?
Anyway a good days work. Some pictures below.

Hi yes smaller ones are available, but if you want decent filtration then I sugest you use a remote oil filter. I had one fitted to my zetec. Pick up
plate, steal hoses and large filter mouted to bulkhead - job done!
