A sad day - my Indy has gone

.....it's gone

The new owner came yesterday, paid, chatted, and left wth my (his) Indy!

Gutted doesn't quite cover the feeling of watching someone drive it away and my 3 yr old lad was in tears as it disappeared round the corner which didn't help!

The guy paid with an instant on-line transfer which worked well for both of us and took away the worry of how to handle payment.

Seems like a very genuine bloke who is keen to look after the car and not just rag the arse off it which makes it a little easier to live with.

Now time to make a start on a new project - undecided as yet, but it will either be a Pug 205 or a scratch build 7 type car - now where's my new welder....?

A day of mixed emotions then!

Sad to see it go, but I guess a relief that it has sold and the cash is in your bank.

If I was going to build again, it would be a Spectre, or possibly a Cobra.

No physical tears from me, but try telling a 3 yrd old why someone else is driving off in Daddy's "yellow-car-what-hasn't-got-a-roof" which has been around all his life

I know the feeling. I sold my MK in June this year and still miss it. My kids always ask me when I going to build another.

Just couldnt justify a £10k car sat in the garage and not being driven
