Hi All, i am looking to upgrade my 893 Fireblade engine. I have a chance ti buy a Cbr 1000rr fireblade engine cheap.
Are these carbed or injected, and if they are injected how much work and expense is involved in changing over.

a fair ammount of work too!
new engine cradle,
new exhaust,
new plumbing,
re wiring and fitting ecu/cdi

Does the engine package include wiring, ecu, throttle bodies etc.. basically everything to make the engine run?
If not, I fear your cheap engine would very soon become expensive.

I think it is just the engine, just trying to find out. Failing this then maybe a later low milage carbed blade.
