Any young locosters?
David_17 - 8/5/11 at 07:01 PM

Hi guys.

My car's getting towards being ready for IVA, so i've started shopping for insurance today.

I'm 20 with a full clean licence and a years no claims on my everyday vehicle (would have had more, but i changed companies).

Got my first quote back off adrian flux £860, which seems alot compared to what i've read other people are paying.

Any other young drivers on here got any reccommendations?

Cheers

Dave

£540

2gether are very good and very competitive!

Im 21, Mk Indy ST170 and mine was £700 with Adrian Flux. My personal experience was that 2gether was more expensive but I guess that changes for different people. Both Footman James and Frank Pickles would not even touch me as I was only 21

+3 for 2gether insurance,my renewal has just come in.£97 fully comp
with 3000 miles use.
And my car IS on the database
I find them very competative as well.

Oh, i am a little older than 20 though.

I would love to know how you get under £100? I am 35 and have just insured my Dax, the best I could get was £250, thought this was quite good till I read above.

Limited millage 3000, fully comp - Adrian Flux

I have a clean licence but do have any noclaims discount, but they said this did not matter on the poilcy offered, ie limited milage - special car etc as they did not count no claims on this type of policy.

I did try 2gether and they were more expensive, Any thoughts?

i've only insured modified tin tops with adrian flux, but they do tend to price beat if you go back to them with a better quote, i usually shave £40 off my renewal fee.
