hi all i want to know the ratio of this diff, its off a scorpio 2.3 and if its definetly a lsd ive been searching for hours but still cant find the ratio 96GG4033AADO4BA

Hi, are you sure its a LSD? Scorpios had traction control! Anyway the ratio on a 2.3 scorpio should be 3.91 if thats helps

by what i've read on the net any diff code with 2 A's in the centre is a lsd and by what i read the early 2.9 were all lsd untill they became t/c although this is a 2.3. i just cant figger out what the ratio is as most are in the code with this being 4033 its got me baffled

If you unsure, stand the diff on the input flange, undo the bolts on the back plate. In yellow pen there will be a making on the slipper i.e. 3.92 / 3.14 etc etc. They are face fit so no replacement gasket required.

Or if the tag is still on the back and readable it will normally tell you the ratio in the top right hand corner.
