£17k of receipts? I'd love to see how anyone managed to spend that much even using all new parts!! Bit of exageration going on there me thinks to be honest on the price and performance. Price doesnt seem too bad really though - £6k would be better though given the basic fittings (rear trailer lights etc) As with all kits though - not too far off that price would be ok if the build quality is very good.

It is a good offer!

Tell him that's your final offer and that you are going to look at another couple of cars at the weekend and to phone you if he changes his mind. If he's smart then he'll call.

I agree with the comments on the 17k spend - exaggeration I'd say.

If the ad is correct then the chap who is selling is not the one who built it. I quote :-

"This car has been 100% reliableand is a very good build..It took the chap who built it 4 years"

So, it did not cost the seller 17K.

Just my 2p's worth.

We seem to be foster parents to all these days, it's a shame we don't get more support on the display stand really.
