Roll bar

Again apologies if this has been discussed but I've been reading the iva manual and I can't seem to find any regs about roll bars. I've read on other sites that there not a legal requirement which seems a bit odd to me considering the other stuff they go into detail about.

If they are legal where are the measurements. I only ask as the car I've purchased already has the roll bar fitted and it looks lower than my westfield did.

Cheers

Col

Not all suspension types need a rollbar so there is no spec on it, it would be part of each vehicle in its own right, the only real thing that could maybe happen is if it was below the scrub line at any point this would be a fall

I think he means the bar over his head rather than an anti roll bar.

Yeh I'm talking about roll over bars.

Cheers

There is no IVA legal requirement to have one - but assuming you do, it has to comply with the general quality of construction and radius rules.
