Citroen AX diesel sub 10m ring lap

Just been watching this rather dedicated chap achieve his <10m ring lap in a Citroen AX diesel.

Hat's off to the guy for persistence and driving ability. Very smooth style and carrying as much speed as he can at all times.

I watched this last night - Tony Pond on the TTcircuit. A stock car driven very smoothly.

That's a favourite of mine too! Very smooth and watchable. Particularly like the bit where he clips the mirror

Yes I would love to see it mentioned on Top Gear and also hear what Sabine has to say
That was all about the driver

Smooth is the key to progress. Its a good example of driving a big lardy car fast.

Top man Tony Pond. No fancy electronics then. Great times, shame he is no longer with us.
