Description :
Formula 27 wide bodied kit car spec'd like Caterham Super sport
Black GRP bonnet/wings/scuttle, alloy panels are powder coated silver.
(Some scratch marks in the gel coat)
Bespoke stainless stone guards and cockpit edging trim.
Very low mileage 1.8 VVC K-series engine (c150bhp) with Caterham sump and 52mm throttle body, matched to a Ford type 9 5-speed gearbox through a
Caterham bell housing. Rover MEMS ECU with immobiliser.
Built from plan to rolling chassis stage by QA Mech Engineer in the Aerospace industry, the chassis was Tig welded on a reference surface, the weld
quality is 1st class, the chassis is powder coated black.
Bespoke rear uprights CNC machined from billet, these were later supplied to the kit manufacturer.
4 into 1 Caterham headers and exhaust.
Caterham heated windscreen and wind deflectors, also included black GRP aero screen.
Bespoke alloy fuel tank with integral swirl pot and high performance alloy radiator.
Full set of VDO gauges, cockpit trimmed in black carpet and matching vinyl with double skinned 5 bar floor for extra protection, adjustable black
vinyl seats with 4 point Wilians harnesses.
Correctly registered as a Formula 27 and on an age related plate.
SVA tested at Southampton 2009 and has only covered approx 600 miles since build.
SORN, MOT 12 months
Always garaged and only driven in the dry.
