To complete the story I just wanted to share a photograph of the finished car which is now in the hands of the new owner.

I love the colour too Alex. It's Porsche Signal Yellow.
The BMW conversion is a delight and is becoming very popular now with the owners of Imps and Imp derivatives. It's a very cheap way to a
reliable and usable 100 and 130bhp depending on which engine is used.
The new owners are a father and son. The son lives in Exeter and I believe the father is in the New Forest area perhaps not too far from you.
Kind regards
John

Hi John,
Saw this car at a local motor event just a couple of weekends ago!
Chatted to what was must the father who lives near Romsey, just a few miles from me.
I had a good look round and he started the engine up for me and I was amazed how sweet it ran! He said it was a 100hp I think.
I especially like the finish inside with those seats - good work.
Have you posted this picture up on the Ginetta Owners club forum?
Cheers
Alex

Now that is a small world Alex. They are a nice couple of chaps and the car has gone to a good home where it will be looked after and enjoyed.
The engine I fitted is the K1100RS which gives 101bhp. Clark Dawson an Imp specialist masterminded the conversion and he designed a cnc machined
bellhousing made from billet aluminium and a choice of adaptor plates to suit the three engines in the K series. Included in the kit is a flywheel and
clutch with a concentric release bearing. All beautifully manufactured and the whole thing fits together perfectly.
