Hi All,

Seem to be fixing one thing and then it throws another thing to fix!!

Have heard a rattle / chattering noise a couple of times when on tick over, it doesnt appear when you first fire the car up, the noise appears after its been running a while last about 10 seconds or so then goes. Sorry for the vague description but i dont know how else to explain it.

Any Ideas?

(edit) Sorry its a 97 Fireblade

Mike

It could possibly be your clutch. Does the noise disappear when you press the clutch pedal? If so, it might just need adjusting.

Use a large screwdriver as a stephescope ? put the blade of it on the camcover by the camchain and put your ear on the handle if it's camchain you'll hear it
