welcome
I think you may find that the scooby flat4 engine is too wide to fit in a 7 ... but then anything is possible
are you thinking of converting to rear wheel drive only?

I'd have the boxer engine sticking out the sides of the engine compartment, then just make covers over the heads for the SVA

It's been discused a few times. General consensus is that it won't fit in a 7. Anything can be done given time and a big enough hammer
though!
Adrenaline Murtaya uses it as a donor but it's not a 7.

The engine in that NZ one looks like the old 1.6/1.8 pushrod they used in the M.V. pickup & 70s/80s cars. I had a Scooby estate with the 1.8 which
made a supposed 90bhp but felt a lot less.
The modern engine will be much bulkier on the heads to house the cams but they got that pushrod wellwithin the chassis so if you're prepared to
have the heads sticking out...
thanks for all the info people, the nz one looks like the old engine! the 1 i'm using is about 265 bhp! :-) :-0
