Yoko Parada or Toyo Proxes should do you for general road use.

My Tyres online + local fitting or ring round local tyre places for best price.

I bought 4 toyo proxes T1-S 225/45/16 for my tintop.
£231 delivered from camskill tyres and £40 fitting at the local tyre shop.
I was getting quotes of £430 from tyre shops to supply/fit.
While I was there I got a 4 wheel track done. It is pointless spending money on new tyres only to ruin them.

What I like about Toyo Proxes is they are a lot quieter than the goodyear eagles that I changed from on my F1-2.
They were so quiet that I thought there was something wrong with my ears!

You can see another set on my MotaLeira in my avatar.

camskill seem to be well priced to me, always used them.

If it's general road use I've found any old cr@p from anywhere to be just fine really. The tyres on my car now were about £180 for the lot new and they haven't let me down whatsoever. They're bog standard no-make ones...

i wouldn't stick any old crap on. Woudl you do the same with your brakes??
no grip....no brakes
Toyo proxy's do work well for the money.

Well yeah you get what you pay for but like I said I've found general road use the cheap ones are fine. I guess if I really had to fault them they're awful when it's really raining but otherwise no problem.

By the way I have used halford's brake pads and they're ok too
