and today's second tip - wheel studs
02GF74 - 15/1/06 at 08:34 AM

Had to fit 4 wheels studs, 2 per side (had to cut donw longer ones and cut thread but that is antoher story).

To fit to half shaft flange, fit a wheel and do up the nut.

Do not attempt to press in with a vive as it will not be pushed in straight (ask me how I found that out). Luckily was able to get the wheel nuts on and corrected alignment, wasn't out by muuch but enough to make wheel nuts awkward to fit and then do up the wheel nuts. sorted!

What's a vive?

I pressed mine in with a 4lb sledge hammer (gently)

Short piece of gas pipe a large washer and a wheel nut on backwards got all my studs on in about an hour, dead easy and straight.
