LC1 settings AFR or Lambda

Just starting to set my new LC1 up and am not sure if I should set it on Lambda or AFR with the LM programmer when using it with a MSnSE?

You need to open up megatune and under file settings open up configurator.

There is a windows type drop down tree, open this for Lambda then match here.

For myself I used autotune in megatune but played around with the variables to widen the scope then closed down as the tune got closer. Took me hours.... but that was lots of driving

Lambda or AFR in the LC-1 programmer makes no difference. It just specifies the output voltage at a particular AFR. You can specify the AFR as either a ratio or as lambda.

The MS interpretation of the voltage is entirely separate. MS expects 0V to be 10:1 and 5V to be 20:1. This is not the default setting for the LC-1.

I thought it was??? If you have output 2 programmed into the LC 1 is it not 0 to 5 volts then??

At the time I bought my LC-1, the default for output one was to emulate a regular narrowband sensor and the default for output two was 0V = lambda 0.5 and 5V = lambda 1.5.
