Megasquirt and EDIS
cd.thomson - 9/1/09 at 08:53 AM

Good morning ,

I've been doing my homework like a good lad with megasquirt. With my redtop (its the one with the dizzy) having a 60-2 integral trigger wheel (I think?) I have been told I'd need to use a wasted spark set up. Reading about it this sounds heavily more complex.

Would I get away with bolting a custom built EDIS compatible trigger wheel to the crank pulley along with a sensor?

I've seen other people do this but I'm not sure of their circumstances.

Also to save me posting again, could someone recommend a fuel regulator for my fuel return line. When shopping I only seem to find them for carburettor systems.

Many many thanks.

Craig

I'm using EDIS. The flywheel on my engine is 60-2, I've welded a trigger wheel on the crank pulley and used that. VTEC just kicked in, yo

my understanding is you can fit a 36-1 trigger + EDIS4 to most 4cly engines

then it doesn't matter what setup it had originally

Cheers guys!

Any thoughts on fuel pressure regulators to fit on my return line?
