i fitting the fuel lines soon, i need a return from the throttle body to the tank? also, i got the new tank from mk, and it has an extra nipple on top next to the tank breather one... any ideas what its for?

Yep a return is needed.

I would guess the nipple is for the return !

Don't forget you will need a pressure regulator, otherwise the fuel will not have sufficient pressure at the throttle bodies and it'll take the easiest route back to the tank.

the fuel feed and return are in the pump at the bottom of the tank if your using the bike fuel pump, then you use the 2 top 'nipples' for the breather
