return fuel pipe routing
cd.thomson - 21/2/09 at 02:10 PM

This would appear to be the best way to route my return fuel pipe... but it looks ridiculous.

Is Mr IVA going to laugh me out of the testing station?

(ill be replacing the cable ties with P-clips on the square tube chassis rail, but keeping them on the round tube.. this could also be an issue?)

Not sure if it would be an issue having the fuel pipe inside the car but I would not be happy to have it there. Whats wrong with fitting it inside the tunnel away from any wiring? If it's secured properly then you shouldn't have any problems

it wont be inside the car, itll be inside the transmission tunnel, its just been left off so i can show where the pipe routes to once it has left the rear tub area.

I would do as much as you can with copper pipe if i were you. It's much smaller OD than the braided hose, and therefore easier to tuck into a tight space.

It will need to be p-clipped to the chassis, or use the OEM style snap in clips. SVA man wont like cable ties on fuel hose.

Cheers,
