LC1 problem?
coozer - 13/3/09 at 10:30 AM

wired the LC1 up last night, good grounds, all soldered up.

Went through the free air calibration, it took about 20 secs to go through all the led flashing bits....

Now when I turn the ignition on the led flashes slow and constant. Sensor does not get hot...

Laptop will not communicate with the unit either...

Is it all duff, have I wasted my money???

it flashes for 30 seconds during warm up mode

It flashes constantly with the ign on. Sensor free to air and engine not running...

if i remember rightly you should have it wired up the 12v ign supply, it will continue to flash if you dont start the engine anf this will damage the sensor, when you start the car it should flash for 30 seconds then the led should either go solid or turn off, i can't remember which, its in the manual,

the sensor doesn't like being left with 12v to it though or constantly starting and turning off then engine and then restarting again either, or have 12v on,off,on off if you see what i mean
