Fuel Pressure Regulator
phoenix70 - 13/3/09 at 12:45 PM

Hi,

I'm just going to fit my new adjustable pressure regulator I bought off Ebay, but I can't figure out which port in the input and which is the output. Is there anyway to tell, as there is not instruction with it, and there is no marking on the FPR itself

There is a port on the side of the unit, and one on the bottom

Cheers.

Scott

Carbs or injection? Any chance of a photo?

if its a fuel injection one with a gauge, the inlet is the one going in the back and the outlet is the one coming out of the bottom, you should also have a small vacuum outlet on the side as well

Errrr where would a chap buy one of those?

if you feel brave Ebay, thats where I got mine (minus a diagram by the sound of it)

P.S. Does anyone know what the plates with the barbed connectors on it are for, I've got no idea.

i;ve been loking at these as i need one myself, are they any good? ie do they hold a good steady pressure?
oh also how big is the unit? as i seem to have run out of room under the bonnet!

Looks just like the one I bought off ebay.

Pressure drops right off when under load on the rolling road.

Mapping compensated for it but if my injectors had not been oversizes i would have been in the poo.

Cheers
