How do i fit a universal backplate to my throttle boddies for a Pipercross filter??
I dont have anywhere to attach it on the gsxr K5 750 throttle boddies!!
any ideas? and if i cut the holes to the exact size(out side diameter of 54mm) how do i stop them drawing in air??
What I do is...................knock up a set of carbon trumpets , and a carbon backplate .
The cut the the holes in the backplate to fit a little way up the trumpets , and then bond the backplate to the trumpets..........simples
No rubbers and SVA is next week!!
Been in the garage since ive posted and decided that im going to cut the Holes to 54mm, which i think is the outside diameter of the throttle
boddies(cant tell properly ive lost my calipers)
Then fit it over, use 2 small brackets to hold plate in position, then use some silicon tube and jubilee clips(one on each hole) put them on after the
plate.
