A lad at work has a Megasquirt 2v3 kit. Its not built but has all the components and relay board.

He said I can have it for £150. Shall I bite his hand off considering the cost of getting a kit from the states now with the £/$ exchange rate?

Hes bringing it in for me to have a look at, but Im thinking its going to look like a PCB with a load of resistors and chips.

Anything I need to know before buying?

If you want MS and can build it from the kit, then it seems a good idea. If not, then i guess you wouldn't be considering it.
As for things to look for, maybe find some pics, BOM, that kind of thing on the net, maybe diyautotune, and check everything is there.
Failing that, i'll have it, if i knew the seller like, and had any means of buying it.
