Fuel Hose rating etc
StevenB - 17/4/09 at 09:41 PM

Hi,

Got some rubber fuel hose last week
and it doesnt have any pressure rating
printed on the side just...

014-09 M 030224 Gates 3225 8mm
universele fuel carburante

It only has one woven layer.

Have I the wrong stuff?

Building Zetec on TBs.

Cheers

it says fuel on it so its fine.

hmm, but it also says carburante. is it good for injection?

Pdlewis - 17/4/09 at 09:55 PM

its rated upto 145 psi or 9.9 bar so more than enought spec can be found here

Thanks for the Gates link.

I tried their own search and didnt get this page.

Can anyone clarify what this statement from
Gates refers to exactly?

"Not designed to replace coupled hose assemblies on fuel injected engines."

Cheers

142 PSI-ish, I think.

Anyone got a spec sheet download link for stainless braided fuel hose?
Just realised that I don't have one for my sva on Monday! (it is braided injection)
