hi am putting a zetec into my mk3 escort stock rod. have a inline fuel pump and acumlator witch i am goin to gravity feed from a gallon tank (race only 10 laps) queston is i need to put a fitting into the bottom of the tank to feed around a 1/2inch hose to pump. atm it has the feed from top of tank as was done using suction when using cvh on carb. but now need a fitting to put in the bottem of tank

Weld a 1/2" bsp boss on and use:

i can get in tank if have to as can just cut the top off and weld back on. but im hoping the pump will have enugh to suck the fuel out from top off tank . will find out soon as almost ready to fire the car up. just finished my wiring and water today. so just fueling now
