Planning my fuel circuit for Zetec & R6 Throttle Bodies (Fuel Injection).
Plan is:
1) Sumped ally tank
2) Low press filter / pump
3) Swirl Pot
4) High Press pump
5) High Press filter
6) Fuel Rail
7) Swirl Pot
8) Regulator
9) Return to tank
Planning to fit LP Pump / Fllter at back of car then HP Pump (Facet) & Swirl Pot in Engine Bay. Any problems with this. Would welcome suggestions / advice and some piccies of your set up would be a major help.
Cheers,
Matt
PS - what LP Pumps are recommended?h

Can i ask, why are you having a swirl pot after the fuel rail?

I know others have done it that way but I'd say keep it simple (tin-tops do) and just go...
Sumped tank, low presure filter, high presure pump, high presure filter, fuel rail, regulator (on end of fuel rail), return pipe to tank.

Speedy...return to tank goes via Swirl pot....
Adrian.....are you saying Swirl pot unnecessary with sumped tank?

Yes. It just complicates things and adds more things to go wrong (and weight). Don't know of any mainstream manufacturer that does it that way. I know the fuel starvation argument, but thats why you have a sumped tank. I only get fuel starvation on track when I'm almost empty.

As above, with a sumped tank you can do without a swirl pot (and even do without an LP pump if the HP pump is below the sump level).

However:

Regulator must go directly after rail, not as you have it in your post. (Most OEM installations it is actually attached to the rail).
