As title, is anyone successfully using knock detection on megasquirt?
Considering it as its so difficult to hear whats going on when the engine is under load unless its on a rolling road.
Cheers,
David

Not with M/S but didn't David Jenkins use a knock detector?

Sure did... used the best knock detector known to man - the human ear!

A word of caution - it's really scary to hear the noises an engine makes, even if it's in good nick.

I have seen it, but heard mixed reports and wondered what peoples experiences were like on here.
Essentially a knock sensor is an amplifier which needs to be tuned/filtered to approx 6400hz.
This is the best link on the subject I have seen:

I like your idea David, I might give that a go.
