Hi guys finally squeezed the ST170 into the westy, problem is the injectors i have are for the blacktop and apparently not high flowing enough
Anyone got any ideas as to which injectors to use and where to get them from.
Regards
Rob
You could keep the same injectors but try running them at a higher fuel pressure if you've got an adjustable regulator.
Why do you need more fuel flowing anyway? What's changed... are you producing more BHP than stock?
How much power are you expecting?
230cc/min (what most bike throttle bodies come with) is enough for 200bhp ish.
My 440cc/min ones are enough for ~87bhp each.

This is the spec for ST injectors...
PN: 0280156095 - 315cc - 14.5Ohms
Should be easy to find some that match or a re bit bigger??
Why not just use ST170 injectors??
Sorry if I'm missing something here.

Funny I was just looking at this for my project.
Peugeot GTI6 are 270cc/min @3bar
Volvo V70 2.5 20v LPT 310cc/min @3bar
Ive just wired up some jenveys for a guy and he used the standard injectors and its pushing 190bhp
bought 2nd hand jenveys which were previously fitted to a blacktop which had current injectors in 192cc/min
as i just fitted a st170 engine into the westy from a2lt zetec on carbs i dont really know a lot about EFi
phoned fords to ask about ST injectors only to be told there £120 each ,so the phonecall ended pretty sharpish
people mention cossie greens vx creams
and even saab turbo reds so just thought id ask for some guidance on here as to which are the right ones for me.
hope to have between 180 -200 bhp

Vauxhall red top injectors have a good flow rate I believe
Any with 65mm between O rings and a flow rate of over 250cc/min should be fine.
Go to big and I would think it will be hard to map.
I was thinking along the lines of these
or these
