has anyone bought and used this cabling with their VR sensor? I just bought 3m but each core is TINY, 7 copper strands in each. Will this be okay?

I used microphone cable, its about 6mm overall diameter and a bit more robust for under the hood....
This Stuff
i used that microphone stuff as well
Hi, I used the same cable that you have purchased, had no problems to date, now over 7K miles. Didnt like the look of the mic cable as it looked to be solid core, so stayed with the multi strand stuff. I think the amount of current that is used in the VR sensor is negligable. Cheers Ray
The stuff yo've bought will be fine. As above, the current will be very very low. The voltages are also low so make sure the connections are as sound as possible.

I bought mine from triggerwheels - it's quite substantial, and the outer cover is rated for oil, heat, petrol, etc.
Maplins may be cheaper, but the proper stuff didn't exactly break the bank.
