Still need filler reducer
speedyxjs - 22/12/09 at 09:02 PM

I still havnt been able to find a reducer suitable for fuel that i can use to join my 51mm filler cap and my 45mm tank.

Someone suggested using a coolant reducer which i did only to be told that it needed to be fuel resistant

Does anyone know where i can find one?

Failing that, has anyone got a 45mm filler cap (preferable lockable) i can buy?

what about a metal reducer ?

(+ 2 short bits of fuel resistant hose)

how about this?

Bit of 50mm fuel hose should be able to be persuaded over your 51mm filler

I think that's because modern production cars have anti-syphon gubbins fitted.
