temp senders and megasquirt
Blackbird Rush - 3/1/10 at 01:09 PM

Has anyone used the coolent temp sender supplied with the digidash for the temp reading for megasquirt?

I have come up with some resistance values at different temps but wanted to double check these with others if they have done the same.

Also using the air temp sender from the blackbird egine, anyone used this?

Cheers

Ash

You could, but the pul- up resistor in megasquirt needs to be removed and the ini files for the megasquirt needs to be set to the digi dashes pull up resistor. The pull up resistor supplies current to the sensor to "power" it.
Thanks

As long as its a normal 2 terminal resistive sensor then yes its a doddle.

You just need to use a little program called easytherm to modify the ini files.

No need to fiddle with the resistors in the box normally.
